Public Bus
From Keflavik, walk to the closest bus stop (Keflavik Airport). Take the Strætó Bus Line 55 towards Reykjavík. Ride until you reach the BSI Bus Terminal in Reykjavík. From BSI, transfer to Bus Line 3 towards Árbær. Get off at the Árbær stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to Árbær Open Air Museum at Kistuhylur 110.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Keflavik directly to Árbær Open Air Museum. Just head to the taxi stand outside of the airport and inform the driver of your destination: Kistuhylur 110, 110 Reykjavík. The drive should take around 45 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking and Public Transport
If you are feeling adventurous and want to explore, you can walk to the nearest bus stop from your accommodation in Keflavik and take Bus Line 55 to BSI Bus Terminal in Reykjavík. From BSI, take Bus Line 3 towards Árbær, then alight at the Árbær stop. Walk 5 minutes to reach the museum at Kistuhylur 110.
