Public Bus
From Keflavik town center, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 'Keflavik BSI'. Take bus number 55 towards 'Kópavogur' and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Kópavogur' stop. From there, the Heiðmörk National Forest is about a 15-minute walk. Head east on Kópavogur's main road (Austurlandsvegur) until you see the entrance to Heiðmörk on your right.

You can easily get a taxi from anywhere in Keflavik. Just ask your hotel reception for assistance or find a taxi at designated taxi stands. Inform the driver that you want to go to Heiðmörk National Forest in Kópavogur. The ride will take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

Head towards the coast, following the walking path along the ocean until you reach the bridge leading into Kópavogur.
