From Kerlingarfjöll, head southwest on Route 35 towards the town of Blönduós. Continue on Route 35 for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (the Ring Road). Turn left onto Route 1 and drive for about 30 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to Hraunfossar Waterfall, which is located off Route 518. Follow Route 518 for about 10 kilometers until you reach the waterfall parking area. There may be a small parking fee, so ensure you have some Icelandic króna on hand.
