Car
From Kerlingarfjöll, head southwest on Route 50 towards Flúðir. Continue on Route 50 for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction with Route 26. Turn left onto Route 26 and drive for another 15 km. Follow the signs to Hrunalaug Hot Spring. There is a small parking area near the hot spring where you can leave your car.

To reach Hrunalaug Hot Spring via public transport, first, you need to take a bus from Kerlingarfjöll to Flúðir. Check the local bus schedules for availability. Once you reach Flúðir, you will need to arrange for a taxi to take you to Hrunalaug Hot Spring, as it is approximately 10 km from Flúðir. Be prepared for taxi fares which can vary but generally range from 2,000 to 4,000 ISK.
