From Kopavogur, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is typically located along one of the main streets. Catch the Strætó bus route 1 towards Reykjavik. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at Þorlákshöfn. Once you get off the bus, head towards Hafnarskeið street. It's about a 10-minute walk straight ahead. Black Beach Tours will be located at Hafnarskeið 17, on your left.
Bike
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike in Kopavogur. Start by heading towards the coastal road (Reykjavik's coastline). Follow the bike path towards Þorlákshöfn, which is approximately a 12 km ride. The route is quite scenic, following the coast and enjoying the beautiful Icelandic landscape. Upon reaching Þorlákshöfn, navigate to Hafnarskeið street, and you’ll find Black Beach Tours at Hafnarskeið 17.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can take a long scenic walk from Kopavogur to Þorlákshöfn. It will take around 2.5 to 3 hours, so be prepared with comfortable shoes.
