From the center of Kopavogur, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main street, Kópavogur. Take bus number 1 heading towards Reykjavík. After about 15-20 minutes, get off at the bus stop called 'Bessastaðir'. From there, transfer to bus number 8 towards 'Mosfellsbær'. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the 'Húsafell' stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach Glymur Waterfall. Just follow the signs leading to Glymur, and you will find the trailhead leading to the waterfall.

If you are in a nearby hotel or accommodation in Kopavogur, you can also take a scenic walk towards the Glymur Waterfall. Head towards the coastline and follow the path along the water.
