From the center of Kopavogur, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at 'Kopavogur, Smáralind'. Take bus number 1 towards 'Hafnarfjordur'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at 'Raufarhólshellir' bus stop. From the bus stop, follow the signs to the entrance of Raufarhólshellir, which will be a short 5-minute walk.

If you are near the coastline, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Head towards the coastal path and follow it eastward along the coast. After about 1.5 hours of walking, you will reach the outskirts of Raufarhólshellir. Look for signs directing you to the entrance, which is about a 10-minute walk from the main road.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Kopavogur. Start from 'Kopavogur, Smáralind' and cycle towards 'Raufarhólshellir'. The journey is approximately 10 km.
