Getting There

  • Public Bus

    Start your journey at the main bus terminal in Kópavogur, known as 'Kópavogur Bus Station'. From there, take bus number 1 heading towards Reykjavík. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Hafnarfjörður' stop. Next, transfer to bus number 5, which will take you towards 'Kopavogur - Múlagata'. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, and get off at the 'Kopavogur - Úlfarsfell' stop. From here, you will see a trail leading up to Úlfarsfell; follow this trail to reach the summit.

  • Walking

    If you are nearby, you can walk to Úlfarsfell. From Kópavogur town center, head north on 'Gimli' street until you reach 'Skeidarvalla' street. Continue straight until you see signs for Úlfarsfell. Follow the signs, and you will find the walking path that leads you directly to the mountain. The hike is moderate and takes about 1-2 hours depending on your pace.
