Car
From the center of Snæfellsbær, head east on Route 54 (Snæfellsnesvegur) towards Borgarnes. After approximately 20 kilometers, take a right onto Route 1 (Þjóðvegur 1) heading south. Continue on Route 1 for about 40 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 36 (Þingvallavegur). Turn left onto Route 36 and drive for about 15 kilometers. Gljúfrasteinn will be on your left at Þingvallavegur, 271 Mosfellsdalur. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
From Snæfellsbær, take the local bus to Reykjavík. Once in Reykjavík, transfer to a bus heading to Mosfellsbær (Bus number 15 or 16). Get off at the closest stop to Þingvallavegur. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach Gljúfrasteinn, which is located at Þingvallavegur, 271 Mosfellsdalur. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.
