Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are in the center of Kópavogur, head to the nearest bus stop, which could be at Kópavogur's main square or near any local shops. Take bus number 1 towards Kópavogur and stay on the bus for about 5 stops. Get off at the 'Sunnubraut' stop. From there, walk approximately 200 meters to the northeast on Sunnubraut street. Iceland Discovery is located at Sunnubraut, 200, Kópavogur, which should be clearly marked.

• Walking

  If you are staying in a hotel or are near the Kópavogur harbor area, you can walk to Iceland Discovery. Head towards the main street, Garðavegur, and walk northeast until you reach Sunnubraut. Turn right onto Sunnubraut and continue walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach number 200. Iceland Discovery will be on your left.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can take a taxi. Simply ask the driver to take you to 'Sunnubraut, 200, Kópavogur'. Taxis can be found at taxi stands around the city, or you can call one via a local taxi service. The ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes depending on your starting location.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop. Start from the central area of Kópavogur and head towards Garðavegur. Cycle northeast until you reach Sunnubraut. Turn right onto Sunnubraut, and you will find Iceland Discovery at number 200. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.
