    From Kopavogur, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is likely 'Kopavogur, Sæbólsvegur'. Take the bus number 5 in the direction of 'Reykjavík, Hlemmur'. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes. Get off at 'Reykjavík, Hlemmur' and transfer to bus number 1. Take bus number 1 for 5 stops, and get off at 'Reykjavík, Arnarhóll'. Walk a short distance towards the landmark, and you will find the statue of Ingólfur Arnarson at Arnarhóll.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental shops in Kopavogur. Start by heading northwest on 'Sæbólsvegur' towards the coast. Follow the coastal path towards Reykjavík. Continue along the scenic route following the signs towards 'Miðborg'. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will reach the area of Arnarhóll. The statue of Ingólfur Arnarson will be easily visible when you arrive.
