Public Bus
From the center of Kópavogur, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Kópavogur's main square. Board Bus 1 towards 'Hlemmur' and stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes. Disembark at the 'Hlemmur' stop in Reykjavík. From there, transfer to Bus 12 towards 'Kopavogur'. Ride for another 10 minutes and get off at the 'Öskjuhlíð' stop. Follow the signs leading to Öskjuhlíð Park, which is a short walk away.

If you are in the Kópavogur town center, start walking towards the coastline at the end of Smáratorg street. Continue along the shoreline pathway heading north for about 30 minutes until you reach the edge of Reykjavík. From there, follow the signs to Öskjuhlíð, which is located at the base of the hill. You will see the entrance to the park ahead.
