If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, which is Reykholt. From Reykholt, drive east on Route 518 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Langjökull Glacier area. Follow the signs for 'Into the Glacier' tours. Once you arrive at the meeting point, you can park your vehicle in the designated parking area. Note that there may be a parking fee, so be prepared for that.

If you're using public transportation, take a bus from Reykjavik to Húsafell. Buses typically run a few times a day, so check the schedule ahead of time. Once in Húsafell, you will need to arrange for a pickup from 'Into the Glacier' tours, which usually requires a reservation. They will transport you from Húsafell to the glacier entrance. Be aware that the bus fare from Reykjavik to Húsafell is approximately ISK 10,000 (about $75) one way.
