Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest town, Húsafell, and take Road 50 towards the east. Continue on Road 50 until it intersects with Road 1 (the Ring Road). Turn right onto Road 1 and drive south for approximately 30 kilometers. Then, take the exit for Road 861 towards Fit. Follow Road 861 for about 15 kilometers until you reach Paradise Cave. There are no entry fees for the cave itself, but ensure you have a valid parking permit if one is required.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Reykjavik to Húsafell. Look for the bus service provided by Strætó (bus number 57). Once you reach Húsafell, you will need to arrange for a local taxi or rideshare to take you to Paradise Cave, as public transport options to the cave itself may be limited. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may not run frequently. The taxi fare may vary, so it's advisable to confirm the price before starting your journey.
