Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Akureyri, the largest town in the Northeastern Region. Head southeast on Route 1 (the Ring Road) for about 80 km until you reach the turn-off for Route 843 towards Reykjahlíð. Follow Route 843 for approximately 25 km, which will take you into Reykjahlíð. Once you arrive in Reykjahlíð, look for the coordinates M6JF+FW5, which is the location of Hot Spring Shower. Parking is available nearby, and you can easily walk to the hot spring area.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Akureyri to Reykjahlíð. The bus service is provided by Strætó, and you can check the schedule on their website. The bus ride takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Reykjahlíð bus stop, you will need to walk to the Hot Spring Shower location, which is approximately 1 km away. Follow the signs towards M6JF+FW5, or ask locals for directions if you're unsure. Be prepared for a bit of a walk, and check the bus schedule for return trips to ensure you have a way back.
