If you are traveling by car, start from Akureyri, the largest city in the Northeastern Region. Take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading southeast. After approximately 70 kilometers, take the exit toward Route 26 (Húsavík) and follow it for about 30 kilometers. Look for Route F208 on your left. Drive on F208 for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach Sigoldufoss. Be cautious, as F208 is a highland road and may require a 4x4 vehicle, especially in poor weather conditions.
