If you're traveling by car, head towards Reykjahlíð, which serves as a good reference point. From the town, drive approximately 10 kilometers northeast on Route 1 (the Ring Road). You will see signs for Stóragjá; turn onto Route 862 (Grímsstaðir Road). Continue for about 4 kilometers until you see a small parking area on your left. Park here and follow the marked walking path to reach Stóragjá.
