If you are driving, head towards Akureyri. From Akureyri, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading east. After approximately 15 km, take the exit towards Hrafnagil and follow the signs. Continue for another 4 km on local roads until you reach Sveinsbær, where Christmas House is located. There is ample parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Akureyri to Hrafnagil. Buses operated by Strætó run regularly from Akureyri to Hrafnagil. Check the Strætó website for the latest schedule and fares. Once you arrive in Hrafnagil, you will need to walk approximately 1 km to reach Christmas House at Sveinsbær. Be sure to check the bus schedule for your return trip as services may be limited in the evening.
