    From the visitor center in Vatnajokull National Park, drive north on Route 862 for approximately 45 kilometers. Then, turn left onto a gravel road marked by a sign for Hljóðaklettar. Follow the gravel road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the parking area for Hljóðaklettar. From there, you can hike to the rock formations.

    Take the bus from the visitor center in Vatnajokull National Park to Ásbyrgi, where you can transfer to a smaller shuttle bus that goes to Hljóðaklettar.
