Driving
If you are driving from Akureyri, head south on Route 1 (the Ring Road) for approximately 4 km. Then, take the exit for Route 82 towards Vaðlaheiði and follow it for about 8 km. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Forest Lagoon. Once you reach Vaðlaskógur 605, you will find the entrance to the thermal baths on your left. Parking is available on-site.

To reach Forest Lagoon via public transportation, take a bus from Akureyri to Vaðlaheiði. The bus service is operated by Strætó, and you can check the schedule online to find a suitable departure time. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Vaðlaheiði, it's a short 10-minute walk to Forest Lagoon located at Vaðlaskógur 605. Make sure to check the last bus back to Akureyri to ensure you don't miss it.
