Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Ísafjörður. Head south on Route 61 for approximately 40 km until you reach the junction with Route 60. Turn left onto Route 60 and continue for about 20 km. Then, take the right onto a gravel road (Fossálar road) following signs for Fossálar Waterfall. Continue on this road for about 8 km, and you'll find the waterfall with a designated parking area nearby.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Ísafjörður to the nearest stop at Suðureyri. From there, you will need to arrange a taxi or a rideshare service to take you the remaining 25 km to Fossálar Waterfall.
