From the center of Olafsvik, head southwest on Aðalgata street. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the end of the street, where it will become a gravel path. Follow this path as it curves toward the coast. You will see the Svörtuloft Lighthouse in the distance. Keep walking towards it, and after approximately another 1 kilometer, you will reach the lighthouse.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Olafsvik. Start your journey by heading south on Aðalgata street. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers. At the end of Aðalgata, the road will turn into a gravel path that leads toward the coastline. Pedal along the path for about 1 kilometer, and you will see the Svörtuloft Lighthouse ahead. Make sure to keep an eye out for any road signs directing you towards the lighthouse.

Check the local bus schedule for routes heading toward Svörtuloft. You can catch a bus from the main bus stop in Olafsvik. Board the bus that indicates a stop at Svörtuloft. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you get off the bus, the lighthouse will be a short 10-minute walk straight ahead.
