Turn left onto Route 43 and continue for approximately 12 km. Then, turn right onto Route 427. Follow Route 427 for about 10 km until you reach Sandvík. Look for signs indicating the nature preserve. There is no entry fee to access Sandvík, but ensure your vehicle is parked in designated areas.

    To reach Sandvík using public transportation, begin at the Reykjavik Bus Terminal (BSI). Take the bus number 55 to Keflavik, which runs regularly throughout the day. After about 45 minutes, disembark at the stop near Route 43.
