Car
To reach Eldvörp by car, start from the town of Keflavík. Head southeast on Route 41 (Reykjanesbraut) towards Reykjavík. After approximately 5 kilometers, take the exit onto Route 43 towards Garður and continue for about 6 kilometers. Then, turn right onto Flugvallarbraut (Route 44) and continue for about 2 kilometers. Eldvörp will be on your right at the coordinates XCC8+C9F, Flugvallarbraut, 262 Keflavík. There is no entrance fee, and parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take the Strætó bus from Keflavík towards Reykjavík. You will need to take bus number 55 or 57. Get off at the stop 'Flugvöllur' (Keflavik Airport) which is near Eldvörp. From there, it's a short walk of approximately 10 minutes: head east on Flugvallarbraut and Eldvörp will be on your left. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary, especially on weekends and holidays.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Keflavík to Eldvörp. This option will take approximately 10 minutes and cost around 2,500 ISK, depending on traffic. Taxis are available at various locations in Keflavík, including the airport.
