Car
If you're driving from Reykjanes Peninsula, head towards Route 43 (Reykjanesbraut) and follow the signs for Reykjavík. This will take you northbound. Continue on Route 43 for about 35-40 minutes until you reach Reykjavík. Once in Reykjavík, follow signs for Hlíðar and then look for signs for Perlan, which is located on Öskjuhlíð Hill. There is parking available at Perlan, but be aware that it may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from various locations in Reykjanes Peninsula to Reykjavík. The Strætó bus service operates routes to the capital. Once you arrive at the BSI bus terminal in Reykjavík, transfer to bus line 18 or 28, which will take you directly to Perlan. The bus fare costs around 490 ISK for a single trip. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as they may vary.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route without the hassle of public transport, consider taking a taxi from your location in Reykjanes Peninsula to Perlan. This option might be more expensive, typically costing around 10,000 to 15,000 ISK depending on your starting point. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
