Car
If you are traveling by car, head southeast on Hringbraut (Route 49) from the city center. Continue on Hringbraut until you see the signs for Perlan. Take the exit toward Perlan from Hringbraut. Follow the road signs leading you up to the hill where Perlan is located. There is ample parking available at Perlan, and you can park directly in front of the building.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Perlan by public transportation, locate the nearest bus stop. You can take bus number 18 or 19 from the city center (e.g., from Hlemmur bus terminal). Board the bus and stay on for about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the 'Perlan' bus stop, which is directly outside the entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as frequency may vary.
Walking from nearby area
If you are in the vicinity of Þjóðminjasafn (National Museum of Iceland), it is just a short walk to Perlan. From the National Museum, head east on Suðurgata, then take a left onto Hringbraut. Follow this road until you reach the hill where Perlan is located. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes and offers a scenic route.
