If you're driving in Reykjavík, head towards the city center and take the main road, Þjóðvegur 1 (also known as Hringbraut). Follow signs for 'Háaleiti' and use your GPS to navigate to Traðarland 1, 108 Reykjavík. There is parking available near Víkin, but make sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Víkin via public transport, you can catch a bus from various parts of Reykjavík. Look for bus lines 2, 3, or 14 that go towards the 'Háaleiti' area. The closest bus stop to Víkin is 'Traðarland.' After disembarking, it’s just a short walk to Traðarland 1. Make sure to purchase a bus ticket before boarding; prices vary by distance but typically range from 480 ISK for a single adult fare.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity and enjoying a stroll, you can walk to Víkin from the nearby neighborhoods. From the center of Reykjavík, it’s about a 30-minute walk. Head southeast towards Hringbraut, then follow the signs for Háaleiti. Once you reach Traðarland, Víkin will be located at number 1.
