Walking
If you are starting from the Harpa Concert Hall, head northeast towards the waterfront. Continue along the waterfront path until you reach the end of the harbor. Turn left onto Aðalstræti street. You will see Aðalstræti 10 - Reykjavík City Museum on your right after about a 10-minute walk.

From Laugavegur, the main shopping street in Reykjavík, walk towards the intersection with Bankastræti. Turn right onto Bankastræti and continue until you reach the end of the street. Then turn left onto Aðalstræti. The Reykjavík City Museum will be on your left after a couple of blocks.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you're near a bus stop, take Bus number 1 towards Akranes from any of the central bus stops. Get off at the stop called 'Aðalstræti'. From there, it's just a short walk down the street, and the Reykjavík City Museum will be located at number 10 on your right.

If you are at the Sun Voyager sculpture, head east along the waterfront towards the city center. Continue walking until you reach the main shopping street, Laugavegur. Turn left and walk until you reach the intersection with Aðalstræti. Turn right onto Aðalstræti, and the museum will be on your right.

From the Hallgrímskirkja church, head downhill on Skólavörðustígur street towards the city center. When you reach Laugavegur street, turn left. Continue on Laugavegur until you reach the intersection with Aðalstræti, then turn right. The Reykjavík City Museum will be at number 10 on your left.
