Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Hallgrímskirkja, head southeast on Skólavörðustígur street towards Laugavegur street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Snorrabraut. Turn right onto Snorrabraut and walk until you reach the end of the street. Then, turn left onto Arnarhóll street. The park will be on your right shortly after.

    From the Harpa Concert Hall, exit the building and head west along the waterfront promenade. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the intersection with Sæbraut. Turn left onto Sæbraut and walk until you see Arnarhóll park on your right side.

  • Public Transport

    If you are near the BSÍ Bus Terminal, take bus route 14 towards Mjódd. Get off at the 'Hallgrímskirkja' stop. From there, head southeast on Skólavörðustígur street, then follow the walking directions to Arnarhóll park.

  • Walking

    From the city center area around Laugavegur, head north on Laugavegur until you reach the intersection with Hverfisgata. Turn left (west) onto Hverfisgata and continue until you reach the intersection with Arnarhóll street. Turn right onto Arnarhóll street, and the park will be on your left.
