Getting There

• Ferry

  To reach the Imagine Peace Tower on Videy Island from Reykjavik, start by heading to the Old Harbour area. You can either walk or take a bus (e.g., Bus 1 or 15) to the 'Sundlaugavegur' stop and then walk towards the harbour. Look for the ferry terminal which is near the Harpa Concert Hall. Take the Videy ferry, which runs regularly from the Old Harbour. The ferry ride takes about 15-20 minutes and offers beautiful views of the coastline and surrounding islands. Once you arrive at Videy Island, follow the signs to the Imagine Peace Tower.

• Walking

  If you are already near the Old Harbour, you can simply walk to the ferry terminal. From Harpa Concert Hall, head southeast towards the waterfront, and follow the path along the harbour until you reach the ferry terminal. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes. Make sure to check the ferry schedule for departure times.

• Public Bus

  If you prefer taking the bus, you can board a bus to the Old Harbour area from various locations in Reykjavik. Look for Bus 1 or Bus 15 and get off at the 'Sundlaugavegur' stop.
