Walking
If you are starting from Hallgrímskirkja, walk down Skólavörðustígur street towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach Laugavegur street, then turn left. Walk along Laugavegur until you reach Hlemmur, a major bus station. From Hlemmur, follow the signs to the Old Harbour area. Once you reach the waterfront, turn right onto Tryggvagötu street. Kolaportið will be located on your left at Tryggvagötu 19.

From the main bus terminal at Hlemmur, take bus number 1 towards 'Skeifan'. Get off at the stop named 'Holt' which is near the Old Harbour area. From there, it's a short walk: head towards the waterfront, turn left onto Tryggvagötu street, and Kolaportið will be on your left at Tryggvagötu 19.
