If you are in the city center, you can reach Kolaportið easily by walking. Start at the Harpa Concert Hall, located at Austurbakki 2. Head west towards the waterfront and turn left onto the path along the harbor. Continue walking along the waterfront for about 10 minutes until you reach Tryggvagötu street. Turn right onto Tryggvagötu, and you will find Kolaportið at the address Tryggvagötu 19.

From the Reykjavik Bus Terminal (BSI), take Bus 1 towards Hlemmur and get off at the stop called 'Hlemmur.' From there, transfer to Bus 5, which goes to 'Tryggvagata.' Once you arrive, walk down Tryggvagötu street for about 5 minutes, and Kolaportið will be on your left at Tryggvagötu 19.
