Walking
If you are in the city center (Miðborg), start at the Harpa Concert Hall (located at Austurbakki 2). Head east along the waterfront, taking a leisurely 15-minute walk along the scenic path. As you walk, enjoy views of the harbor and the surrounding mountains. Continue on the path until you reach a small park area near the waterfront. From there, turn left onto Geirsgata. The Eisenbahn-Denkmal is located a short distance ahead on your right. Look for the monument as you approach the area.

Public Bus
To reach Eisenbahn-Denkmal by public transport, go to the nearest bus stop in the city center. Catch Bus number 1 towards 'Hlemmur' and get off at the 'Hlemmur' stop. From there, transfer to Bus number 14 towards 'Sundlaug' and get off at 'Geirsgata' stop. After disembarking, walk a short distance down Geirsgata. The Eisenbahn-Denkmal will be on your left side. Keep an eye out for the historical landmark as you approach.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in the city center. Start from the main square in Reykjavik and head towards the waterfront. Follow the dedicated bike lanes along the water until you reach the area of the Eisenbahn-Denkmal. Park your bike at the designated bike rack near the monument. The landmark is located on Geirsgata, and you can easily spot it once you arrive.
