If you are in the city center (Miðborg), start at the Harpa Concert Hall (located at Austurbakki 2). Head east along the waterfront, taking a leisurely 15-minute walk along the scenic path. As you walk, enjoy views of the harbor and the surrounding mountains. Continue on the path until you reach a small park area near the waterfront. From there, turn left onto Geirsgata. The Eisenbahn-Denkmal is located a short distance ahead on your right. Look for the monument as you approach the area.

To reach Eisenbahn-Denkmal by public transport, go to the nearest bus stop in the city center. Catch Bus number 1 towards 'Hlemmur' and get off at the 'Hlemmur' stop. From there, transfer to Bus number 14 towards 'Sundlaug' and get off at 'Geirsgata' stop. After disembarking, walk a short distance down Geirsgata. The Eisenbahn-Denkmal will be on your left side. Keep an eye out for the historical landmark as you approach.
