Start at any location in Laugardalur. Head towards Laugardalslaug, the local swimming pool, and exit the area towards Sæbraut road. From there, walk towards the city center following Sæbraut until you reach Miklabraut. Continue on Miklabraut until you reach the intersection with Hringbraut. Cross Hringbraut to get onto the main road, then follow it straight into the downtown area.

From Laugardalur, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is likely located near Laugardalslaug. Take bus number 14 towards 'Hlemmur'. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Hlemmur' bus station. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to Hallveigarstigur 8. Head southwest and follow the road signs to Hallveigarstigur, where Door from 1927 is located.
