Public Bus
From Selfoss, you can take the Strætó bus (Line 51) towards Hella. Board the bus at the Selfoss bus station located at Austurvegur 25. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. You should get off at the Hella bus stop. Once you disembark, walk north on the main road (Þjóðvegur) for about 1.5 kilometers. The Caves of Hella will be on your left. Look for signs indicating the entrance.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Selfoss. Start from the Selfoss town center and head east on Austurvegur. Then, take the first right onto Þjóðvegur (Route 1). Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Caves of Hella, which will be on your left. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.

Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the Selfoss town center and head east on Austurvegur. After about 1 kilometer, take a left onto Þjóðvegur (Route 1). Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers, and you will see the Caves of Hella on your left. The walk will take around 30-40 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
