From the center of Selfoss, head northwest on Hafnarstræti street towards Þjóðvegur 1. After approximately 1 km, turn right onto Þjóðvegur 1, which is the main road towards Reykjavík. Continue walking on this road for about 5 km until you reach the intersection with Road 35. At this point, turn left onto Road 35. Faxafoss is located about 4 km down this road on your right. Look for the signs indicating the waterfall.
