    From the center of Selfoss, head north on Austurvegi Street towards the Selfoss Church. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Þjóðvegur Road (Route 1). Cross the road and follow Þjóðvegur heading east for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the direction to Hveradalir Geothermal Area. Follow the signs and continue on Hellishelðivegur for another 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance to the geothermal area.

    Bicycle

    Start from the town center and rent a bicycle if you don’t have one. Head out on Austurvegi Street towards the Selfoss Church and then continue straight for about 500 meters. At the intersection with Þjóðvegur Road, turn right and cycle along Route 1 heading east for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Hveradalir Geothermal Area. When you reach Hellishelðivegur, turn left and cycle for about 1 kilometer until you arrive at the geothermal area.
