At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Hringbraut. Continue on Hringbraut for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork onto Reykjakot road. Follow Reykjakot for approximately 7 kilometers. You will see signs for Reykjaströnd and the Reykadalur Hot Spring Thermal River. The trailhead for the hot springs will be on your left. It is about a 30-minute walk from the trailhead to the hot springs.

    Rent a bike from a local shop in Selfoss. Start your journey from the Selfoss town center and head towards Þjóðvegur 1. Follow the same route as walking – take Hringbraut and then turn onto Reykjakot road. The bike ride will take approximately 25-30 minutes to reach the trailhead. Once at the trailhead, lock your bike and begin your hike towards Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River, which is about a 30-minute hike from the trailhead.
