Public Bus
From Selfoss, head to the Selfoss Bus Station located at Þjóðvegur 1. Take the bus heading towards Reykjavík and ask the driver to drop you off at the Þingvellir National Park stop. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs towards the park entrance, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Selfoss. Head northwest on Þjóðvegur 1, following the road signs towards Þingvellir National Park. It is approximately a 30 km ride, so be prepared for a scenic journey. The route is mostly flat but be cautious of traffic. The park entrance is well marked.
