Bus
From Selfoss, head to the local bus terminal located at Þrastargata 2. Take bus number 51 towards Biskupstungnabraut. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop labeled 'Biskupstungnabraut'. From there, you will need to walk about 10 minutes to reach Laxabakki Turf House. Head southeast on Biskupstungnabraut, and you will see the Turf House on your left.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start at the Selfoss town center (around the main square). From there, head northwest towards Þrastargata, and continue onto Biskupstungnabraut. The walk is approximately 5-6 kilometers and will take around 1 hour to reach Laxabakki Turf House. Follow the road signs along Biskupstungnabraut until you see the Turf House on your left.
