From the center of Seydisfjordur, head towards the main road (Route 93). Walk along this road until you reach the sign for Gufu waterfall, which is approximately 3 km from the town center. The trail leading to the waterfall starts from the gravel parking area on your left. Follow the clearly marked path that will take you through beautiful landscapes. It’s about a 30-minute hike from the parking area to the waterfall.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle in Seydisfjordur. Begin your ride by heading towards Route 93. Follow the road for about 3 km and look for the Gufu waterfall sign. Once you reach the gravel parking area, park your bike and take the hiking path leading to the waterfall. The hike is approximately 30 minutes and follows a scenic route.
