Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Seydisfjordur, head towards the main road (A1). Exit the main square and walk towards the waterfront. Continue along the waterfront path, passing the old wooden church on your left. Keep walking along the path that runs parallel to the river for about 15 minutes until you reach the foot of the hill. You will see a sign directing you to the observation deck. Follow the path uphill, which will take approximately 10 minutes. The observation deck is located at the coordinates 7X6V+65X, offering stunning views of the fjord.

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Seydisfjordur and head towards the main road (A1). Follow the road along the waterfront, passing the old wooden church on your left. Continue straight along the waterfront path for about 15 minutes. As you approach the foot of the hill, look for signs indicating the way to the observation deck. Ascend the hill on the designated path, which takes about 10 minutes. The observation deck is located at 7X6V+65X and offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.

• Public Transport

  Currently, there may be limited public transportation options directly to the observation deck. However, you can take a local bus or shuttle service that operates within Seydisfjordur. Ask the driver for the nearest stop to the observation deck location. Once you disembark, follow the pedestrian path towards the waterfront, then continue along the path for about 15 minutes. At the foot of the hill, follow the signs to the observation deck, which is approximately a 10-minute walk uphill.
