Walking
If you are in Seydisfjordur town center, start at the main square where the church is located. Head east on Austurvegur street towards the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and turn left onto the road named Skálanesvegur. Follow Skálanesvegur for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass a few scenic views along the way. Look for the Post-Hostel sign on your right; it will be located along the Road to Skálanes at 7272+2XG, 710 Seydisfjordur.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Seydisfjordur. Start from the town center and ride east on Austurvegur street towards the waterfront. Continue straight to the bridge over the river, cross it, and then take a left onto Skálanesvegur. Cycle along this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out on your right for the Post-Hostel sign along the Road to Skálanes, which is your destination.
Public Transport
Currently, there is limited public transport in Seydisfjordur. However, if available, check the local bus schedule for services heading towards Skálanes. If a bus is running, board it and inform the driver that you need to stop at Post-Hostel. If not, consider walking or cycling as described above.
