Car
From Skaftafell, head south on Route 1 (Ring Road) for approximately 5 kilometers. Look for the sign for Almannaskarð on your right. Turn right and follow the narrow road until you reach the parking area. The parking is free.
Public Transportation
Take the public bus from Skaftafell to the nearest stop on Route 1. Once you get off at the nearest stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer south towards Almannaskarð. Be aware that bus schedules may vary, so check the local timetable in advance.
