Car
From Skaftafell, head southwest on Route 1 (the Ring Road). Continue on Route 1 for approximately 24 kilometers (15 miles). You will pass by the scenic views of Vatnajökull National Park. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Kalfafellsstadur. Once you reach Kalfafellsstadur, look for the coordinates 42XR+62. The destination will be on your right side.
Public Transportation
From Skaftafell, take the bus heading towards Höfn, which is operated by Strætó. The bus will travel along Route 1. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the stop at Kalfafellsstadur. Upon disembarking, walk approximately 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) in the direction of the coordinates 42XR+62, following the road signs. This will lead you directly to Eiður Flugvirkjans.
