Car
From Skaftafell Visitor Centre, head northeast on Route 1 (the Ring Road) for about 1.5 km. Turn left onto Route 998 towards Svartifoss. Follow Route 998 for approximately 3 km until you reach the parking lot for Svartifoss. From the parking area, you will see signs for the hiking trail to Svartifoss.
Public Transportation
Board the bus from the Skaftafell bus stop, which is located near the Skaftafell Visitor Centre. Take the bus heading towards Höfn. Request to get off at the Svartifoss stop. From there, follow the marked trail signs leading to Svartifoss, which is about a 1.5 km walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are already in Skaftafell and prefer to walk, start at the Skaftafell Visitor Centre. Head toward the hiking trail entrance located just behind the Visitor Centre. The hike to Svartifoss is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 40 minutes. Follow the well-marked trail, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
