There is no entrance fee, but ensure you have a vehicle with enough fuel for the journey.

Take the bus from Skaftafell to the nearest bus stop in Kalfafellsstadur. The bus service is operated by Strætó, and you can check their schedule online. Once you arrive at the Kalfafellsstadur bus stop, it is about a 5-minute walk to Eiður Flugvirkjans. Head southeast from the bus stop on Route 1 for approximately 400 meters until you see the sign for Eiður Flugvirkjans at 42XR+62. Check the bus schedule for return services.
