From Skaftafell, take Route 1 (Ring Road) eastbound. Drive for approximately 18 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 206. Turn right onto Route 206 and continue for about 7 kilometers. The viewpoint will be on your left. There is a small parking area near the viewpoint, and parking is free.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Skaftafell to Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Check the local bus schedules for the most up-to-date routes and times, as they can vary. Once you arrive at Kirkjubæjarklaustur, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to the Fjarðarárgljúfur Viewpoint. Follow Route 1 eastbound, and then take Route 206 on your left. The view is visible from the road, and you should find a path leading to the viewpoint.
