If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Stykkishólmur. Head south on Road 54 and continue until you reach the junction with Road 58. Take a right onto Road 58 and follow it until you reach the junction with Road 1. Turn left onto Road 1 and drive towards Snæfellsnes Peninsula. After about 35 kilometers, take the exit for Road 574 toward Arnarstapi. Continue on this road until you reach Arnarstapi. The Arnarstapi Cliff Viewpoint is located on Arnarstapavegur, and you can park nearby.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take the bus from Reykjavik to Snæfellsnes Peninsula. You can use the Straeto bus service (Route 57) to reach Grundarfjörður. From there, you will need to arrange a local taxi service to take you to Arnarstapi, as public transport may not directly reach this viewpoint. Let the driver know you want to go to the Arnarstapi Cliff Viewpoint on Arnarstapavegur.
Car
From the town of Hellnar, drive west on Arnarstapavegur for about 4 kilometers. The road is scenic and will lead you directly to the Arnarstapi Cliff Viewpoint. Look for signs indicating the viewpoint, and you will find parking nearby.
