If you're driving, start from the town of Ólafsvík, which is approximately 30 km from Lísafoss. Head southeast on Route 54 (Snæfellsnesvegur) for about 15 km. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and possibly catch a glimpse of the Snæfellsjökull glacier. Continue on Route 54 until you reach the junction for Route 371. Turn onto Route 371 and drive for approximately 5 km. Lísafoss will be on your left, marked by a small parking area.

To reach Lísafoss via public transport, take a bus from the town of Stykkishólmur to Ólafsvík. You can find the schedule on the local bus service's website. Once in Ólafsvík, you will need to walk to the junction of Route 54 and Route 371, which is about 3 km away. From there, you can either continue walking or try to hitchhike to Lísafoss, as public transport is limited in this area. Be prepared for a short walk along Route 371 to reach the site.
