KEF to city center the scenic way.
Alti was a wonderful guide for us to discover the treasures of the Reykjanes Peninsula. Alti phoned as we were debarking to confirm meeting time and was exactly where he said he would meet us with a spotless, comfortable vehicle. The drive was awe inspiring and narration gave us an appreciation of how the scenery intertwines with everyday life in Iceland. What a stunning introduction to our Iceland stay.

Private Reykjanes Peninsula, Lava Tunnel and Blue Lagoon Tour
Impressive and Impactful Tour
This was the most amazing day in Iceland. Örvar is the most knowledgeable person about Iceland that we met our entire visit. We went to the largest lava tunnel I have ever seen. We drove around and saw beautiful scenery while Örvar would give us the history of the location, social and political insights. He would stop for us to take as many photos as we wanted. He gave us tips as to what we should be looking for at each sight or on our drive. We drove right up to almost every sight on the itinerary. He had the entire history of Grindavik and the Fagradalsfjall Volcano. We ended at the blue lagoon which should have finished a most relaxing day. However, Örvar drove us around Reykjavik to a church we didn't know about, encouraged us to go inside and enjoy. He showed us some streets in Reykjavik that we didn't know about. He went over and above to make a lifelong impression and wonderful memories. I am very grateful to have met him and enjoyed the tour.
